It’s no secret these days that there’s a growing popularity in two wheeled transportation within the skate industry. The typical brand of choice is good ol’Harley Davidson. Those of you who have taken the plunge and scrounged your leftover beer money to grab one that was built between 1969 and 1981 know that you gotta have a bag of wrenches on you at all times to keep that thing together. You see, in ’69 the American Metal Foundries bought Harley and just about took down the longest American motorcycle manufacturer. For every two bikes you get one good one and another that might as well be used for parts. These bikes are the most attainable for our generation as they aren’t as expensive and you still get to roll on a Harley. It’s like a badge of honor to be able to rip around on one of these things cause it shows that you are ballsy and smart enough to wrench your way into keeping a classic machine on the road and the wind in your face. These things are not for the faint of heart. Buy and Beware. But you may just come out looking like a rockstar. We all know it’s about looking like you don’t have to try in order to be trending on ‘the google’ and keeping your twitter followers jealous.

I decided to use the original AMF logo as a template for the DC x TOTW Collabo hat. It represents the mentality of those who keep the dream alive, even when your broken down. Those who keep skating, no matter what tries to slow you down, need to keep their heads held high and carry that twig like a badge of honor.
